About this event
This session focuses on the health and wellbeing of those involved in caring for a person living with dementia, whether they live with you or elsewhere. Carers may include partners, family members and friends.

You will learn about the impact of dementia on carer wellbeing, the importance of self-care, managing stress, strategies for looking after yourself, and services and support. This is a group session where you will meet and talk to other carers, with an optional follow up call from the facilitator.

Suitable for: Partners, family carers, family members, and friends of people living with dementia.
It is not open to paid carers, health or aged care workers as professional development.

Morning tea and lunch provided – Please contact the organiser ahead of time if you have any dietary requirements.
