COP is known by some as the annual “climate Olympics.” It’s a major annual global conference where climate experts, activists, politicians and fossil fuel lobbyists gather to discuss the next move to tackle global warming.
Heaps Good COP is the name of a group of South Australians who were preparing to be part of the COP31 in Adelaide. But, with plans shifting the next conference instead to Türkiye, the group refused to be disappointed, channelling momentum to bring the first community-led Adelaide Climate Action Week, showcasing practical green solutions.
The event kicked off today and runs until this Sunday 2nd August.
