Triple U – Artist Of The Month – December 2025

Arising from Kiama, NSW, Bronte Alva began her songwriting journey at the tender age of 7, crafting her first song about a primary school crush. This initial exploration of emotions paved the way for an array of songs capturing heartache, the joys, and the challenges of life.
During her senior year of school, Bronte recorded her debut demo, initially aiming for Triple J Unearthed’s Unearthed High competition. Although the bedroom recording didn’t reach the finales, fate intervened when fellow South Coast band ‘The Terrys’ discovered it on Unearthed, recognising a hidden gem. Collaborating with The Terrys’ producer, Bronte re-recorded the original demo, birthing her debut single, “Eve’s Lips (Make Me Want To Cry).”
Inspired by storytellers like Taylor Swift, Angie McMahon, and WAAX, Bronte effortlessly weaves narratives into her music with a mix of sweetness and crudeness with her recognisable lens of unfiltered honesty, resonating with all audiences just learning to be human.
