Debbies – Artist of the Month September 2023
Hailing from Jervis Bay, NSW Australia, Debbies are a two-piece rock band comprised of best mates Noah Egan and Alex Robertson that formed in Jan 2019. With a sound that combines those summery slacker vibes with upbeat hard hitting rock melodies, the duo evokes a mesmerising pop rock sound that reflects their easy going energetic personalities.
The band have fast become one of the most buzzed-about new names in Australian rock music after being named one of the five Triple J Unearthed High finalists in 2019. Since then, they have scored slots at huge festivals such as Yours & Owls and Falls Festival Byron Bay. In 2020, the boys sold out their first ever headline show in less than 2 days and pulled off back to back Triple J air premiers for ‘Waking Up In L.A.’ and ‘Influencer’.
