Vitabeats – Artist of the Month December 2023
Andrew & Lissa Barnum aka Vitabeats.
The song-writing-performance duo had a national hit with ‘Boom Box’ (Hot/EMI) in 1985. This was followed by singles ‘Audrey’ and ‘Build it Right’ from the album ‘Spot the Spanner’ 1985.
Since 1988-2023 Andrew Barnum has never stopped writing and 8 solo albums that also feature Lissa on vocals. He has 200 songs and collaborations registered with APRA-AMCOS.
Vitabeats released ‘One world rhythm’ and ‘Nothing more than this’ produced by Joe Wissert and David Hemmings at Studio 301 to streaming in 2013. Their new songs reflect their experiences since re-locating to South Coast NSW from Sydney in 2015.
In 2023 Vitabeats released two new songs, “Rise Up” and “Red Electrics”.
