I have been involved with Shoalhaven Community Radio, since its inception, way back in 1985, and together with Alan Sherringham et al, have continued to present programs, from Test Broadcasts in the initial stages, and then when granted a full time licence in 1988. I have taken on many responsibilities in this period at Triple U,  including devising the first Training Program, instigating the award winning Community Radio Magazine "Inside Edge", being President and in 2005 stepping down after 15 years of Secretary. I continue to be involved with the training program, which has changed somewhat since the early days due to technology, and the grading of announcers. 

Being part of this exciting field of radio, has been one of the highlights of my life. Interviews with Prime Ministers, Mayors, Entertainers, Community Folk, people from all walks of life, have given me lots of pleasure over the years. I continue in this vein today with the  long running program "Got The Message", which includes great music, interviews and news.  "Got the Message" has gained many awards over the years for program content and production.

After "Got The Message", I will take you back to those long forgotten songs of the fifties and sixties, specializing in the ones that didn't quite make the Hit Parade, so if you're after your Rock N Roll with a difference, then tune into Rock The Joint, Fridays from 12 noon
