Complaints

If you have heard something on Triple U FM that you are not happy about and you wish to make a complaint, please use this feature of the Triple U FM website assist you.

As a responsible Community Broadcaster we strive to only present material that we believe meets our community standards, however there could be times when our presenters may breach those standards. Some programs featured on Triple U FM may contain material of an expletive nature and it is station policy that these programs are put to air generally after 8.00PM when young children are unlikely to be listening. Program presenters are required to precede such content with "expletive warnings". At all times we abide by the Community Broadcasting Code of Conduct and the Broadcasting services Act of 1998. Triple U FM maintains logging records of all material broadcast so please note the date and time that you heard the offending material which will enable Triple U FM's administration to review the material prior to responding to you. The Code & the Act, require complaints to be lodged in writing. Triple U FM is required to provide you with a written response to your complaint within a six week period from the date or receipt. If, after responding to your complaint, and, you are not satisfied with our response, you are then free to lodge a complaint directly with the Australian Communications & Media Authority.
